Description

"There are two things to aim at in life; first to get what you want, and after that to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieve the second." ~ Logan Pearsall Smith

One of the dangers in Florida - you never know when you are going to pick up a hitchhiker. This little tree frog was happy as a clam on my in-laws truck's gas tank cover. I opened up the hatch and there it was peering up at me, probably annoyed at being disturbed. Congrats to Andreas on the birth of his son, Little Liam. Enjoy it all buddy, it goes so quickly (though you probably don't think so right now)! ;'] ------

Thanks for your gnarly comments on my previous upload, thumb_1445927.jpg Illiteracy You are allowed to go in the ocean. The sign was for cars driving on the beach, heh heh. ----- Olympus C8080wz & PhotoshopCS. (906) Lake Placid, FL, USA 2007 Sponsored by: ott_bot1.gifKramer Kreations ohm.gif

unbelievable, isn't it? great snap! nature is just everywhere and there seems to be no trouble in coexisting with our technical development. (very dangerous statement, i know) unless You don't sink your motoroil in the next river... ok, i think, the frog just wanted to sniff a bit to stand all the tourists... :-)

Brilliant find & capture, heard of a frog in your throat, but never one in your gas tank, gives new meaning to a greener car Stuart

One of my favotite night time singers. Here in New England the are the heralds of spring. One morning I opened my hood and found a neighbors cat asleep on my engine! I have no idea why I opened the hood, but now when it's cool at night I always bang on the hood before I start the car. BJ

Can this be a truly green alternative fuel? ;] A century from now, our descendants will marvel at the rapacity with which we consumed Earth's fossil fuel resources, no less than we now marvel at the wholesale slaughter of whales for their oil during the 18th and 19th centuries. That, however, was and is a renewable resource, unlike petroleum and coal. :[
