Description

Just testing the Caustics - any ideas how to model liquids inside a glass or a tank such as this? In this pic there is nothing below the surface wich is a simple plane. If I try to put a whole cube of water inside the tank it looks awful with some strange reflections between the glass and water...

How about using a box with a selection tag on the top poly as the top bump texture, then use a new textture for the rest of the cube [transperant colour light blue? maby with an enviornment to qive it some depth etc. just an idear mike.

The whole liquid in a glass thing is a pain in my as to, if you find a solution to it let me know OK? this is looking pretty good though. Do you see the dark area on the water suface that is not show through the glass? whats up with that? weird. Also thats a pretty good wood texture.
