Description

When I lived in Alberta Canada, I was lucky enough to see late at night out in the country the Northern Lights or Aurora as some call it. It was so beautiful...dancing lights across the sky that actually hum if you're quiet enough and listen. It was the most beautiful display of light this one had ever seen although I hear they are even better in Alaska. I wanted to try and show something similar as I saw that night in Canada. Although I've never seen an image that gives the Northern Lights justice I wanted to try anyway... I played around with some textures in Bryce to place in my sky...nothing near as beautiful as the real thing but as close as a beginner in Bryce could get. Excellent scene! I've only seen the Northern Lights in pictures or on tv. It must be incredible to see them live. Your image does do them justice! A very beautiful depiction! Fantastic moon in the background too!
