Description

As the electromagnetic pads lifted the shuttle Venture off of the ground her powerful engines throttled up preparing to propel the shuttle down the GRAVstrip and into the sky. With everything in order the crew reports green across the board and moments later the launch clock hits the zero mark. The Venture's engines fire and she thunders down the strip while being held just above it by the massive elecromagnetic pads that line its edges. The launch in now in progress and building up air speed is now the name of the game... All models (save for a couple of small shapes I borrowed from the library) and composition by me using Bryce 6.1 and Photoshop CS - Thank you for viewing and as always comments questions and critiques are welcome.

Thats a cool idea to use the filmstrip technique to display a series of images - really adds to the dynamics and makes for a captivating image! All atmospheric and field effects work well to give a sense of the enormous energies at work here!
