Description

Taken with my lovely new Sigma 70-200 f2.8. A landscape with a tele lens?! urm - yup... although admitedly it was at 70mm. It seems there was a photo society meeting (not the student one i am a member of but a local one) on wednesday night, there were two "leftover" (meaning the ones who were still going) members who arrived whilst i was perched with my feet dangling over the end of the harbour wall with the lens attached to my monopod. I'm sure they thought i was there for the birds =D Well that is partly true, as i waited about 15-20mins for some to fly into the right place in the shot to complete the composition i had in mind. Anyway - this is the same "scene" as my shot "Castle Sands" but taken from the harbour about 200 metres along the coast. And again i gave it the eye candy treatment - although, having said that, it was a rather spectacular sunset anyway :) Enjoy! Rich
