------------- Tales of the Silver Gryphon - Kaylynn in Trouble

Kaylynn investigated the door past the magical trap line. There seemed to be something odd about the construction of its hinges, a deep line in the wood just around them, like perhaps they weren't hinges at all. No matter. Himnirfil, strapped snuggly on the back of her belt, out of sight and out of the way, thrummed and she could hear his irritating Deurgar voice in her head. There was no doubt the hammer's spirit was male, and their was equally no doubt she'd rid of the blasted thing, the first Dwarven thief that joined the Silver Gryphon. Given the history, though, she didn't hold much hope for that.

Chris was growing impatient. He had a much better, and faster way to find any traps on the door, though he realized everyone needed their turn on point.
