Loving the minimalism. the white background really makes this stand out as does the simple palette. One criticism tho is that it lacks detail. Either it is the camera/lens you are using (although looking back at your wildlife macro shots i doubt it), lack of focus, or something you did in postwork. it is almost as if there is noise in the shot (i'm thinking of the subject, not the background) or you enlarged a crop of the whole scene. If it was intentional then fine, that is your artistic interpretation, but i would prefer to be able to see the imperfections that are most probably present on the fork.

Excellent shot! Agree with Inshaala on the detail. Looks for me as if the shown display is chosen intentionally. But as he - I'd prefer to see the sheen and detail. But this being a matter of taste more than actually a problem with the image - I leave it at the image being utterly impressive as it is!
