My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Lovely soft effects in this macro of the quince, aka, Cydonian apple. Wasn't there a TV show with the same name some time ago, about a coroner/pathologist? Or was that Quincy?

If we are talking about quince fruit, then let me tell you that it is very prized by the Persians who slow cook the fruit for ours until it has that honey colour and flavor and serve it with lamb and polo (rice). So come late August, early September, there will be fruit hanging on this tree. Thank you for sharing a wonderful photograph. egmont
