Description

*Thanks for viewing* The Tau of the Tau Empire are a relatively young race of the 41st millennium. Tau society is based upon the precept of The Greater Good, where the needs of the many out way the needs of the few. According to the Tau, everything has its place for maximum efficiency, including the neighboring races inhabiting Tau space. Such races are integrated into Tau society where their respective skills can be best utilized. One such race are the Kroot, a neo-barbaric race of cannibalistic reptilians that serve as mercenaries for any race that can pay their price. Innovation, Dynamic expansion and the ability to best utilize their resources mark the Tau as the First Amoung Equals of their fledgling Empire, and it is this very drive toward expansion that has seen the Tau Empire come into conflict with the forces of the God Emperor of Mankind. So far, the Tau have managed to hold their own against the vast war machine of Humanity and with the Tau directing the Diaspora of their fledging Empire, the galactic struggle for dominance has become even more fierce.

WOW... I mean WOW...you are spot on with the armor. I see you used Major Cache... How did you do the helmet?

The helmet is the head of the Multi robotic figure from Sanctum Arts that used to be available at Daz back in the day. To that I added some basic primatives of a box and some tubes for the front helmet assembly. The red and blue lens look are through Photoshop. The side antennae is a combination of a machined cylinder and one of the wing segments from the FVCS Spaceship kit that was also formerly at Daz scaled down to fit. It's not perfect, but I think it will do to get the idea across. Of the whole image, I'm actually more proud of the Kroot figure off to the right. That was alot more difficult to try to recreate.

Superb work! I like the mustard colour on the armor, as well as the helmets, but the faces are the best.

outstanding and superb sci-fi job!! plus, I'm a fan of thw Warhammer 40K series, so your gallery has more than a soft spot in me... hahaha, and yeah, you totally hit the nail in the head regarding my elf... she's a genetics engineer, and actually, her breast augmentation is just part of a bigger experiment she's running on herself.. as for the breast part, the strengthening of the back was a total must... all that will be explained in the comic at some point, so be sure to check it out soon!

Great work, However (Sigh, here we go again....Geek alert!) The Tau's feet actually resemble Cloven hooves, with a distended ankle, like a goat. (See Mr. Tumnus, chronicles of Narnia). Otherwise Fantastic! :-)
