Description
Perhaps this is a smile
just an empty gaze
but maybe something more
just beneath the haze
could I steal your soul?
cast it into stone
catch you just offguard
standing there alone
or perhaps I

Oooohh yes. Mina is correct - Tara is QUITE pleased! :) Do NOT trust this woman, my dear! She doesn't have your best interests at heart. I love the way you have portrayed Euryale. Beauty is such a lure, isn't it? Not many would be fooled, let alone seduced, by her true form. By the time you have looked into those eyes and seen your demise, it's far too late. Straight to my favorites this goes! Thank you, my friend - this is a fabulous image, and your poetry is the perfect accompaniment to your artistic talent.

If this isn't a good case for finding and loving the beautiful and good inside a person, I don't know what is. It is very alluring, beautiful and full of the danger of loss. Exquisite artistry, Collin.

Someone has done their homework on mythology. Although Medusa was the best known of the gorgons (due to her appearance in the stories about Perseus) she had two sisters Stheno, and Eurale. They were the daughters of Ceto (the personification of the dangers of the sea) and Phorcus(the primeval sea god). Of the three only Medusa was mortal. (Mythology is a bit of a hobby of mine.)

Nice work Collin ,and you are stepping into the art period that I adore, but why the mottled effect.I thought the Reaissance period was the same as the romantic's,ie William Morris who Painted almost photo realistic.Or am I wrong. If I am some will put me right.

Beautiful image Collin. Now who is being "mysterious" lol. So the eyes say it all, although her prey is reflected in them. And is it just me (no one has mentioned) or is there eyes throughout her lovely hair, especially by your signature? Hmmmm. Excellent work my friend, you put me to shame!
