Description

As though I melted into all desire away from all I know as true into an abyss that is inside of me all memories stirred, no familiar cue beyond what I before had dared to see intentions and belief retire could I but shape the sound of nothing make a world from endless strife float into the eternity of dreams beyond the limits of a life know all of everything and what it means and anchor still my soul on something But this place shifts my place I know not where I go first slow, and now with haste into the realms I can not know and only taste Collin

This work, both painting and poem, are wonderfully mystical. Such wonderfully symbolic colors. I think I see a brain in there. ;) I believe there is a universality to both pieces, and everyone who reads and views would be able to see themselves in your work. I certainly do, and for that reason you have reached in and touched my heart and soul. The only curiosity to me is the title. I don't see this as dark, but rather a journey into the unknown, an adventure of discovery. While that can be frightening at times, I have this confidence in wonderful things found all along the way if we permit ourselves to be free. Absolutely inspired work, Collin. Suzanne

Wonderfully magic, both poem and image. I love the colors and your words enhance the feelig of it. (Damn, another artist making me jealous with the ability to write poems) The red sky fits my anger of muteness!
