Description

There's a huge cement retaining wall in back of the building where I work, and it's just covered in ivy. In the spring, the new growth is this amazing, brilliant green color. The leaves darken as they age. I was fascinated by the fuzziness on the newest, smallest leaves. It seems to disappear quite quickly. The slightly older leaves have already lost that look.

My middle child was that way too. Born 6 weeks early and looking like an orangatan - all red and fuzzy head to toe! We were happy when it all fell off with in a few days! This is a really nice shot.

Excellent capture of the lush greenery in this compo of the leaves with the fuzzy edges. Incidentally, little lambs eat ivy, also.

You are becoming so expert with the camera! I too like the fuzzies going on here. Your title reminds me of the AFLAC commercial with the goat :) Munch, munch :)

that ivy is nice to look at when blooming but it can do a tremendous amount of damage to a house.it is like pulling large nails with a tweezer trying to get rid of it.the color is beautiful

This is so simple and the color so clear that it must be a favorite, even if just for clarity but I think the whole image just gorgeous!
