Description
I sat on a street corner in edinburgh with my camera on my knees and my finger on the shutter release just blind shooting for a while. Everyone but the toddlers didnt realise what i was doing, they either ignored me as a possible homeless person or thought i was just waiting for someone, only the little ones stared and seemed to realise what i was doing when they heard the mirror slap and saw the camera. Got to love childhood curiosity.
Entered this into a Religion challenge under a different title (if you know where i mean dont vote on it, it is against the rules) and it is being slated for not being religious - got to love strictly closed minded people who dont realise what interpretation of a theme actually is.
My mum thought i should sell this shot to Solo Menswear - i'm sure their corporate photographer would love that ;)
anyway - thought i would share.
Enjoy!
Rich

It's a good photo mate, but be careful doing shots like this some poeple can get offended. I know I have done simular.

i like those kind of Streetphotography where only Parts of the Humans are shown . Fine Crop and good color-Contrasts here. Could be promotion for Jeans (-;

I totally agree with your mum - the clarity is superb and I disagree about being careful - I was under the impression (from the countless threads in the forums!) that you can take shots of people without their consent as long as their face isn't the main focal point (correct me if I'm wrong there??) Anyway, the contrasts and colours are fantastic. Composition is of pro standard and the POV is just what I've come to expect from you...... totally unique!!! Excellent shot Rich - sell it!!! xx

Nice shot and the blue jean always has a great effect ! Excellent .... IMHO I think the bag is a little bit too important in that pict , anyway I like very much the POV and treatment of your pict .

Great shot - goes to show that some attempt of individualism ends in uniform. Cool approach!

It's superb. Sell it! Too many starving photographers out there, Rich. Don't be one. Then maybe you can shop at a hoity-toity (sp?)mensware shop.
