My name? Eric den Biesen, a Canadian of Dutch ancestry. I'm 46 years young, though I sometimes feel MUCH older. I generally like to model in trueSpace, though I'm learning Carrara and Hexagon as well. Not much free time for it, so anything I'm building progresses REAL slowly. :( I like to illustrate my tales of the Imperium with Poser and/or Bryce, or that story's prequel, Siren's Song, the story of the Human/Mer first Contact. Neither story is more than outline, and bits are told through the pics I do. And because it's fun, of course. :)

Stunning work.!!!

Very nice. I like the point of view. Well done. Only suggestion, and it's just that, would be to work on the lighting to give it a more realistic appearence. (HDRI ... OA maybe?)

You've done a great job here! The only distracting thing to me is her right arm/hand position but all-in-all great job!

very romantic. I love you pose especially hitch hands with the lover.

The pose is great realy great ... But the image looks realy off at the feet ... the dont look standing it looks like pasted on a background.. i think its the lack of shadow... and to look better i think it needs shadow on the feet/ground But that pose ..wow

Great job done here!!! At first, I thought it was a photo. Everythings fine but what I appreciate the most is the camera POV.

The depth mapped shadows are letting you down with floaty syndrome. You might want to go with ray-traced shadows. The pose itself, is pure dynamite! I think the other person might have liked the girl's right hand on the man's hand, or such, but I like it as is. It shows an all too human pettiness and it grounds it in reality. Great work.

Great POV and the pose is killer.
giorgio_2004
Excellent pose and I particularly love the feeling of joy and relief that this image is transmitting. Just improve a bit the shadows around and under their feet, and it will be perfect!
Krid
great scene with excellent pose, details and pov

Lovely indeed. The pose is perfect. Her right hand did strike me as wrong, on the first glance, I thought that it should be in his hand, but then, on second thought, I think it's just fine as it is and it's a good touch. As stated earlier, the shadows are not helping to the realism of the image. The textures in the background look a bit low-rez to me, but this is only visible in full-size view. The POV is very good.

Yes, the shadows were a MAJOR disappointment, especially as the feet are grounded. I'll need to wait for time off work before I fix it as it's a VERY lengthy render. :) As to the textures, I think I likely don't have that material setting in the render options set low enough. :)

As mentioned, absolutely amazing poses! The figures are unbelievably natural. And as mentioned, the only weak points are the shadows and some of the material shaders.
