Description

Another River Thames pano taken between Vauxhall Bridge and Lambeth Bridge. In the centre is the Tate Britain (building with the dome) which houses British art including contemporary work- it also hosts the Turner prize competition. Like the Tate Modern, a top place to visit! Millbank pier, and Houses of Parliament are also seen. The yellow boat is actually an amphibious DUKW, these vehicles were used in WWII taking troops over land and sea. It's owned by a company that does tours of London by road and river. How could they build such ugly high rise in such a great city The Big Ben and the classic lights are the only things that remind us of the beauty that once was Thanks (again) for showing me that Londen is no longer the wonderful city it once was.. 5 stars for the photo 5 tears for the situation
