Description
Could I but sail the China Sea
far away from what troubles me
Into the storm and waves that call
to wash away my burdens all
And sail a ship to Timbuctu
bathing in the deep sea blue
and start again, my paths each new
a happy ending for me and you

All done in Painter

I recognize the glass distorsion of Painter, so well fitting your image and that wonderful blue.Who does not want to sail away? To be honest, I won't, but that is another story. Congrats to the commision!

A wonderful verse for a wonderful painting. And a commission, no less - congratulations! I particularly like the lavendar and purple tones that are between the brilliant blue and the black. I hope your people are thrilled with this! (They certainly should be!)

Wonderful interpretive painting. Your blues are exquisite, as are the shapes of the water. The turbulence is very expressive. Excellent work and congratulations on the commission. Hugs, Suzanne
