I can see the dew resting in your eyes
count the heartbeats
a frozen moment, disolving all the lies
feel your warmth
like a gentle rain that keeps me just apart
disolving time
the ocean that wants to storm but just can't start

Collin, this is magnificent, both, poem and painting. I think each stands apart as well as together. I can see this as the love between two people and naturally relates to your title. However, I can also see the possibility of it as anticipation of self unification, becoming whole. Your poem is tender and loving.
