My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Willows are a favorite. We don't have the wheeping willow much here because of the dry and hot conditions but growing up in Ohio, I used to love to hide up in the branches. Gorgeous shot.

It's a beauty, Tara. It looks like you caught it in early spring, just after it leafed out. I love the light green of new leaves.

Besides birch trees being my favorite, willows come in a very close second, even when the two cannot be compared because of their structural differences. For the birch is strong and erect, the willow is passive, bending her branches to the embrace of the breeze. At least that is ow I see our willow in the front yard. Thank you for sharing. egmont

Oh, that's what that tree is! I had a shot or two in my database of the very same arboreal lovely but didn't know what to call it, which is normal for me. In any event, that is a terrific POV and DOF, with fine colors and lighting effects in this wonderful capture, mon cheri!

I love the Weeping Willow Trees. This brings back memories that we had a lot of them near the hotels. I'll have to check if we still have them. It is just an eye pleaser to see this. Excellent shot. Aloha

Where I grew up, we had a rather large lagoon with weeping willows all around it. These trees were old and very large. When young it was a great place to play, as I got older it was a nice place to sit and think.
