Description
Ultrafractal 4.03 - Photoshop 7
More "fractstract" stuff and the same ol' (hopefully not TOO overused) squiggly "sun" to give it some "context". I usually try to make abstracts that have a scene-like quality to emphasize the vibe I got from the focal shape(s) and to give the viewer something "concrete" to hang onto amid the rest of the chaos.
On this one, I made shapes that - to me anyhow - suggested a crow (a pretty motley looking one at that! lol) under a corn stalk. The piece uses mostly Susan Chambless' "Dust2Dust" formula in sdc.ufm along with Andreas Lober's cool "M Gnarly Orbit Trap, Dist. Method" coloring in the akl-m-mt.ucl folder - a neat combo Tim (Encrypted) turned me onto a while back that I've gotten a lot of mileage out of.
Hope everbody's having a wonder-filled Saturday and I'm glad you stopped by for a peek at "Heckle"! Get it - "Heckle and Jeckle"...crows....ah well, so I'm weird - lol)
c-ya!
Rick

Like the design, and the sun is essential to this. Probably wouldn't have spotted the bird without your pointer - but crow? I'd catch the creature quick for the albino characteristic makes it rather special. Did it find a mate or did its unique display go unappreciated (apart from your discerning self, of course)?

Nice work. Interesting understatement with the colors. And, of course, the texturing is cool; it tells the brain that this must be some 'natural' kind of meduim, certainly not a computer.
