Description

My friend Linda is an artist (gasp!) and from time to time she does pottery and sculpture. She made this pot, which sits in the bay window in her kitchen. I love the way it catches the afternoon light. I asked her if the pot had a name - if so, I would use it as the title of my image. She said she had never named it, but always thought it looked like a mushroom, and said I should call it "Portabella Pot." I am enchanted by her pottery skills, and think this is a great pot. She is enchanted by my photography, and thinks my picture looks better than the pot does in person. (Of course it doesn't, but I'm glad she likes the photo!) The pot is about 15 inches (35 cm) tall.

OMG, my good friend Tara features Home and Garden magazine advertising as another one of her many talents! Excellent balance, beiges, contrasting light and shadow effects, and unique text in this capture of the exquisitely formed pot. Kudos also to your friend, Linda, for her lovely creation!
