Description

"There cherries grown, that none can buy Till cherry-ripe themselves do cry." ~ Richard Alison

A detail of a cherry tomato from my home garden. The growing season is winding down and this is probably among the last crop we will get from these plants. PLEASE view full size for maximum detail. ------

Well, first response...I loved it and watched as it was loaded onto my monitor and then I tried to scroll down to see the rest because it was a marvelously clear shot and very inviting... I got frustrated at my monitor as it was not scrolling and then I realized - that was it. there was not more to see. So, either its a great shot because it provoked me to frustration or its a great shot because I wanted to see more. You pick.

It sure tells the difference from one side of the US to the other...my tomatos are still growing and haven't even had a tomato yet??? Excellent macro shot!!!!

I was always under the impression that "So cherry" applied to a meticulously renovated automobile, all sleek and shiny. Interesting lighting effects of the fruit contrasted against the black background. Incidentally, I phoned Adobe today to inquire if Photoshop CS3 was compatible with Mac OS 10.3.9 Panther, and was discouraged to find it will only install with the latest OS 4.8 Tiger system. More bucks to put out. Bummer.

We love these versatile little buggers! Put em in a salad, pop em and see who has the best aim, cut them up with shredded cheese and top a sandwich. They taste sooooo good! Mullaney was very sad to see flowers on her cherry tomato plants. It was almost comical to see the expression when we tried to explain that they would grow up to be tomatoes! Nana to the rescue! I told her that the flowers are what we trade to the fairies who will replace the flowers with tomatoes. Now it of course makes sense, as this is much more believable! Can't wait for ours to come in! Do we get to see the other half of the Cherry Tomato? I grew these before and had about a 5 gallon bucket full every day. Very tasty with mayonaise. Tasty shot. Aloha

You ate the rest of it? My lettuces are ready but the tomatoes still green. Maybe one year I'll get a salad all at once?
