It looks like a bearded iris to me. (Oh what a shock - Tara sees a flower!) I like this! Clearly there's an art to the way one moves the camera. I'll have to try this and see if I get anything publishable!

It was originally the word for blanket in Scottish Gael, as most blankets were woven in clan colours, it became synonimous with the patterns. Very cool shot. BJ

Looks like a feather blur to me. Because of camera shake, I often get an unintentional blurred shot, but nowhere as exquisite and elegant as this. Cool to the extreme!
