Description

This was an interesting project in that I was able to use a different number of techniques to create the model. Splines and surface tools were used to create the head and body but I was also able to use meshsmooth or sub division modelling for parts of his armor and his laser gun. The hair was done with the scatter plugin and since it was only half a head of hair (200K faces) it wasn't too taxing on the system. The model is not quite finished yet but rather than spend a bunch of time creating the rest of his cyborg body, I decided it was more efficient to create a generic muscle man spline model that I could adapt and reuse to make other super hero/warrior type characters.

You've done a great job here - it looks just like him, from what I can remember. I'd love to see renditions of other of the more "obscure" super-heroes...

Very nice, the attention to detail is immaculate. Dont even bother looking at those 9's up there you deserve solid 10's for this job! With or without a body!

Thanks for all the kind comments. I don't know if I will finish the rest of his body or not. Now that I have the spline body nearing completion (see WIP), I have some other characters that I want to work on, so Deathlok may have to wait a while to get his bionic arms and legs ;)
