Description

Looks like I'm going to need a teleconverter & a monopod for further shots of this nest. This has the 70-300mm zoom pegged at its furthest end, and it's still fuzzy. I still hope to get back to this nest again, though. (EDIT: Yeah, Klaus made me realize I really picked the wrong image from what I had. Here's a slightly better one. However, I still intend to head back out, get closer, and take some all together better shots, maybe as early as tomorrow morning) Rebel XTi w/ Sigma APO DG 70-300mm Macro zoom Focal length: 263mm (why, oh why wasn't I at 300?) Mode: Shutter Priority Exposure time: 1/800sec Aperture: f/7.1 ISO-200 Pattern metering

Well - using basically the same lens, I'd say something's off. It should be crisp and clear with 1/800 and f 7. I suggest making some testshots and check if the autofocus works properly. Would be great to have some clear shots - and wonderful opportunity!
