Description

Happy fathers day to all the Daddys, Grandaddys, husbands, Brothers, Uncles etc out there! Didn't know what genre to put this in! Ok, it's a macro shot, but I found the buttonize on psp after blacking out the background and adding borders... I have been wanting to black out a background for ages, but didn't have the patience to do roses etc! So, chose a Lily from my mums garden... Then I thought that it looked too boring and 'run of the mill' with just the black and gold ish borders... Thats when I found buttonize... If anyone has knows a quick way to do blacking out of the background, lemme know? Lol. Ok, enough ramble... Hope you've all had a great weekend! Hugs, Tracey.

A very beautiful capture and lovely dedication Tracey. You could try contrasting as a quick way to blacken the background - but this will only work if you're are dealing with bright colours

Nice POV on this! You did a fine job with the black background. Looks good! I don't think there's a quick and dirty way to take out the background - you just gotta be patient. I do mine in sections so I can take a break once in a while. I'm old, and my eyes get tired! ;)

Brightness & contrast in PSP will darken the background, also if you spot meter instead of patern metering (depends how good the camera sensor is)this will also darken the background as will increasing your shutter speed (manual mode) Stuart
