Description

Another view of Fort Brockhurst. I took this one yesterday afternoon once it had finally stopped raining! Ok, I took another gazillion yesterday afternoon, but I like the variety of water ripples and the reflections on this one! Lol Thank you so so so much for your comments [even the technical ones where I don't have a clue what you are really talking about ;)] and ratings on my other uploads, everyone of them is appreciated. Have a great weekend and pray that the rain stops for me, hugs, Tracey

very unusual fort and you made a fine capture.it is difficult to get a great sky and foreground when the sky is so bright, but you pulled it off

This is a nice shot and a good point of view; so also with a point-and-shoot camera it is possible to make the right exposure (I mean: no reason to blame the camera). See the green of the grass and the blue in the air and compare it with the friday-shot. (By the way: there is a big difference between some correctional retouching and retouching it to death -as is myqizmo's fear-, in a way you interfere in your work also by improving the presentation with those lovely frames, there is nothing wrong with that.)

I agree the crop could be a bit different to make it more appealing but I love the way you have minimal sky but major sky reflection. Very nice!
