Description
This was taken last Saturday morning looking across the East River at the New York City skyline from the riverside promenade in Brooklyn, New York. It is a total of 5 photographs stitched together. Such an incredible view takes at least that much to even begin to absorb the scene found at this at this revealing vantage point.
It's a lot easier to do this kind of picture stitching to a natural scene rather than one with all these connecting lines and buildings. A couple of liberties were taken, but I tried to remain as true to the scene as I could.
Unfortunately, due to the size and long length of this picture, I had to reduce the quality setting to 56 in order to comply with Renderosity posting limits, so some fine detail was lost. However, to really see what's still there you need to view at 100% and scroll, depending on your monitor settings.
Second in a series from my trip to New York. The first post, New York #1, can be viewed by clicking here.
Thanks for viewing!

amazing panorama. I still can not believe I walked all the way up north close to Central park to the WTC and Staten Island ferry then back up to just across of the north side of your image to a heliocopter pad and road one around Manhattan.then walked back to 49th to the subway to Queens
