Description

Somehow part of this flower was more interesting than the whole thing. This was in my friend Linda's garden. (She's the one who made the Portabella Pot.)

Frankly, I always think that there are parts of a flower that are far more interesting and beautiful than the whole. But before I started taking macros, I had no idea there were such beautiful things hidden within. This is a gorgeous shot! So well balanced for appeal and the focus is wonderful. Stellar!

I'm thinking modern-day sailing ship here, raising the mast and sail together from horizontal to vertical. Lovely color, clarity, DOF, and presentation, Tara.
