Description
This been kinking around on my hard drive and each time I was going to post it I get some new photos that I was excited about and like a little kid run and post it here. I say I going to post it today.
They tell me people around here use to paint they houses like this to show they place in the commenity. But the people never tell me what what. They do not know the colors. This could be a rich man house or a poor man house. Or the doctor house. I do not know. I going to find out more as I ask around. I got more shoots of this house and when I find out I pass the info top you.
I know it late now I been to the hospital and have to put my wife back in the mental place. I did comment on some but do not have time to comment . If I missed yours I get to it tomorrow.{I hope] lol
Got to get athe images ready for the show next month too.
I just uploaded this because of habit lol a bad one??? No it help me with what going on I at rest here with friends.

the poach floor is at a slant so the rain water will run off ot it. You see the uprights is where they are so the image is level

Jocko, my thoughts and heart go out to you and I hope I can send some of my inner strength and strong support your way. I remember hearing about the houses being painted according to stature in the community in old world LA. There was a true pecking order and in many areas it still is there. Cajun, creole, carpetbagger, coon-ass (my mother-in-law was a coon-ass) all had their place in society. This is a great shot of a Louisian home and you can see the pride in their family and name in the upkeep of the place. Great shot.

I love the colors. It reminds me of the old Victorian houses in San Franciso that they paint like this. Very colorful neighborhoods. And we could all use a little color in our lives. I'm glad you and your family is getting help. Take care of yourself:0)bonita
