Description
This is my Previous painting revisited. Well the Male character. It took me hours of pondering what to do with him...then hitting a bit of depression, this came to me.
The woman represents the human condition, you might say. The black dress is our earthly life. As you can see I hope, I tried to make it appear satin, or silk in displaying at one point it was a very fine piece of clothing. We strive to aquire so many nice things but it never fills us. And Especially those of us who do suffer from depression or just when we hit those hard times...don't we always look to the heavens?
The angel has his hand out reached and he has brought heaven right within reach, but she still wears the clothes of her earthly life. She is struggling to rip them from her body to find peace.
Well, I hope this piece speaks to your heart. "Deliver Me"

Rosalin my Angel, youve gone and done it again, youve created a Masterpiece!!! my English is not suitable enough for me to correctly describe how well youve captured the Essence of the Dilema which afflicts the Human Kind since the beginning, that which you carry within your Soul you almost effortlesly manage to portay in your illustrations, even the Dark parts of your Images seem to Glow with the Light within!!

Striking conception and beautiful faces. The metaphor for her clothes shows itself throughout her body. Although it's a welcomed touch to see your detail and passion in those faces, I hope you'll also post a version where his feet and wings are unobscured by the insets ... and if you do, I'll fave that one.

Very beautiful artwork. The expression on both faces are super done and I love the poses. Her dress is gorgeous. The whole image is fantastic done.
