Description

*******HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!!!!******** This one is called Papaver "Royal Wedding" an Oriental Poppy, I have this in a pot on my deck and I've been patiently waiting for it to bloom. When I got back from my weekend trip, there it was, but the wind had blown off one of the pedals as you can see... But still it's a real beauty!!! enjoy... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I updated my last post so you can check out what that strange image was...

I remember you posting a beautiful whitish poppy, way back, and me saying I'd only seen the red kind. As I said then,I looooove poppies and it's fascinating for me to get this up-close-and-personal look. Beautifully done, Akemi. Any luck with identifying that 'Akemia' flower you posted? -M :^D

Wow this is such a clear macro Akemi, and the colors are fantastic!!!!!! I love poppy's too!!!!!! they're so beautiful and so many different types!!! Brilliant work!!!!!!! goes to fav's right away!!!
