Description

Hello ladies and gentlemens! Third and final shot of my rainbow experience. A plane on a runway (we just arrived) Some of you had some question...The plane was a small charter Saab-340B type and I was a passenger.(Yes I did see a cookpit but a Captain ask not to take pictures) Thanx to comment and see my pictures day after day...seeya

Oh, I love the effects of that propeller blur! A gorgeous sight and a great effect against the cloud background. I bet this was a zoom shot, T! I can't imagine you getting that close to the backwash of the prop, or getting so near as to endanger your head/body in the process of taking a photo. And, I'll Google the Saab-340B and find out all about it.

Great series ... did you have a polariser filter on your camera?? Sometimes when theres two layers of polarising film (ie: a tinted aeroplane window and a camera filter) you will get this cross polarisation "rainbow" effect. It works well with a polarised tinted car too!! Or even try mountin two polarised filters on your cam and photographing clear plastic objects like cd cases, plastic cups, etc. Cheers !!
