Description

Looking south from Cascade Head on the Oregon coast. To the left is the Salmon River. Beyond the beach and the next headland is the town of Lincoln City. This spot is about 1200 feet (365 m) above sea level. My car was parked way down by the river, but the view was certainly worth the walk. Back to hiking in the Gorge tomorrow (Saturday for me). We'll be hiking Wahkeena trail, so I'll pass a half dozen or more waterfalls. I'm sure I'll have some worth sharing. Have a great weekend, everyone, and thanks for all the great comments.
