Description

Hello to all my Rosity Friends. Well, I finished my sail ship. Not happy with the sails. They were draped over a sphere in Poser to get the curve. I should have used a finer mesh on the sphere. Oh...well. I'll fix this if anybody really cares. Looks like someone has an eye on my ship though.. I wonder where the crew disappeared to? You can find several new things on MY HOMEPAGE now. I have a Bryce file with this ship ready to render. All materials are from the Bryce texture editor, so it's completely self contained. To import to Bryce 6.1 simply select the open command and in the dialog box that opens select the .br5 version at the bottom for file types. I also have the original Wave.OBJ file version posted. If you download this version, you will have to assign your own textures for use in Poser or Vue etc. All lines are defined as HARD so they don't bloom in Poser. This Model was created using Wings3D. Sails morphed in Poser. I also have posted for download: The RAIN MATS used in my previous ship posting, before I added real sails and ropes. Included in all these is a brief text file with minor notes. I will eventually post this ship in the free stuff market place. But for a few weeks, wanted friends to get it first. The ship was created in Wings3D and, as a wave object, can still be imported into most poly editors for modification or more details to be added. Also, Mom (aka: Silkylady) has posted this weekend, using my ship in a very creative and fun way. Hope you go check her out. Again, all these free things are on My Homepage. Find my name above and click Homepage. (for you new folks) See my new goodies under heading "PUBLIC FILE LOCKER" Have a great week.. I'm off on Business (and pleasure) to NYC all this week.. See you all next week........ and will catch up on all missed ebots then. Hugs from Dave :^) Credits: Ship Model: DLO (yea...) I am amazed that you did this in bryce...I had to go and buy lightwave because I could not muster the patience or acertiveness to actually model anything in bryce... great job I'm going to give you a five +++ just for having the ability to create this wonderful model. Keep up the good work.

The "Locke Ness" monster reviews and approves all ships so the story goes. If it approves of the design the monster moves on in it's merry way, if not the ship is lunch. Dave you lucky sea fairing sod the ship is approved ! Amen to that ol boy ! Cool imagenative work for both image and model. Have a profitable trip in NYC. George.
