Description

Built in the 1890's, strength and opulence were as today, the image money handlers wanted to present. I wonder how this old bank felt some few years later when the "great depression" hit the USA. Today, the building is beautiful with some grace. Unfortunately lighting was so totally uniform and bland even specialized metering and bw show little contrasts..the Corinthian Columms blended right into the walls in the color shot. Take it as it is...opulence subdued. I took the shots "after hours" when the clean up man said take all the photos you want. The next day, I met a man with a camera.."Don't try to shoot the bank," he said. "The guards will run you off."

Great title for a great shot. You did a good job with the minimal lighting.
