Description

Last weekend's hike was the Wahkeena/Multnomah loop, for those who are keeping score at home. :-) This loop affords several waterfalls and lots of wildflowers, so I'll have upload subjects for the entire week. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

wonderful shot...so green and lush...the water must move swiftly through the little stream as it comes from a decent size fall then tapers off...

I love to start my day off looking at your falls shots Dennis. You just know I can't get enough of them and I'm gonna miss them all for two weeks when I go on holiday!!! What will I do??! A lovely capture of the cascading waterfall and the motion of the water in the foreground is superb set against all the beauiful green foliage and wildflowers. Excellent capture my friend. xx

Pretty cool how caught the water peaking out throughout the image. And the greens are nice as usual.

This is incredible. Some falls are dramatic by size and power and some are outstanding because of their surroundings but this one is oh so perfect. It is so tall and not a big booming mass of water. It meanders its way down and gives the eye something to follow after. The greenery that crowds it and gives interest is an important part of the appeal. Excellent shot! Excellent eye.

A beauty of a babbling brook! What a lovely scene. Is there a manmade object just left of center? It seems a bit too regular to be natural. I love the rush of the water :)
