My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Gorgeous, I can almost small that gorgeous honeysuckle perfume. This is the only scented one, I think, Hall's Halliana, and I give cuttings and layered pieces away every year! First day, white, second day, creamy, third day gold, then gone..........but it will keep going until frost. I imagine it looks wonderful against that blue!

Just what are those honeysuckle stamens seeking? You would think that they would all be pointing upward in the same direction, exposing themselves to the nourishing rays of the sun. Fine POV and soft lighting and colors in this compo, Tara!

Even nature has some abstract creations. Love this unique form of flower, looks like a vase and all the stamens on long stems in there waiting for H'birds or just a photographer to captured them.

Searching for bees, perhaps? Who knows where they'll be coming from. Gorgeous shot, Tara.

wonderful photo of honeysuckle! I have never thought much about it but you have shown me there is something to see in those blooms. Excellent photo. Pov is great and so is the view.

Wonderful detail and colours with excellent contrast! I like the background blue, but hadn't actually noticed it until I read your comment, probably because the DOF is so good!
