Nice composition, but something is wrong with lighting. I don't know how to improve, coz I have the same problems all the time.

I made the thing and I see some mistakes now that I posted, darn it! My window has strecth marks, and is too small. I hope to be making a better wall, and some more clutter, but I was so pshyched at how fast I was able to create these things. I highly suggest the book by Bill Fleming : Advanced 3D Photorealism Techniques. These objects are pretty much straight through the tutorials.

I have read that book too and i learned a lot from it. There is a nice tileable street in the book, have you tried that on the floor? I would make the fence a bit "older". I don't see what is wrong with the light, it depends on what you want to achieve.

I haven't gotten that far in the book yet, and I'm kindof trapsing around the book in my spare time. I put some noise on the fence for grunge, but maybe more will help out. I wanted the light to do what it did. You can't see a lot of shadows because I set the shadow mapping differently. I wanted a washed out shadow look like on an overcast day. the ligted objects look correct to me because the way the picture is implied, the bricks are part of the structure that is casting the hard shadow in the background. I appreciate the comments

Good idea Xtinct. It almost feels like cheating though, because I didn't make it from my own head, but from a book. But what the heck, right?
