A tiny red beauty. I love the swirl of the inner flower.

Beautifully soft for what I think, ( don't quote me ), is a cactus flower? Beautiful color, too! Edit: Oops! Duh! Just saw your title, lol.

A very delicate wee flo'er, Rozanne. We had the wettest June in 50 years, although allegedly it was one degree warmer.. It was still raining when I got to Glasgow airport, with my daughter, on Saturday afternoon, two minutes after the car bomb there. Then I spent 11 hours, redirecting stranded passengers etc., and waiting till someone in charge, decided to take the 1500 or so passengers stranded in their planes, to the SECC (Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre) and release them to waiting relatives. I was interviewed by the SUNDAY MAIL, although as usual they got my name wrong. All the hotels were full, and not a taxi to be seen> Many had to sleep over in the main hall. Luckily no one was hurt, except one of the bombers. Just a coincidence that it all happened on the opening of the Scottish Parliament, when the Queen, and all the politicians, security forces, police helicopters etc., were over in Edinburgh? I think not. As usual it was up to off-duty cops to sort the mess before the press and emergency services arrived, and retired ones to organise the Social Workers in the SECC. The latter did not '..have a scoobie..'/any idea about what they were supposed to do ( due to lack of direction from above, I think ). Regards, John.

Es increíble como los cactus que no son muy atractivos pueden producir unas flores tan hermosas. Soberbia foto, delicada de color... casi transparente ! Como verás ando un tanto tarde comentando... demasiado chill out !
