Nice capture, Rozanne. I am sure this guy used to go into the COTTAGE BAR in Shettleston, in the mid 80s.. ;o) Sun broke out in Glasgow today, as the local muslim and white communities joined in an anti-terrorism rally in George Square. I have a section of blue sky captured on my camera, just to prove it. Someone claimed Alan Johnston, the freed BBC Middle East correspondent, as an honorary Glaswegian, .. since he hadn't seen sunshine for 114 days either ;o)) Enjoy the weekend, Regards, John.

Yes, it really does look like Bacchus, at least all the images of him I've seen. Nice shot!

Jopé ! Que maravilla de bajorrelieve, ó escultura. Si que parece Baco, el dios del vino. Bonita foto Rozanne. Que tal esas multitudes que se tuestan al sol ?

Just think, it took someone many hours to carve this, and in this day and age we can click a shutter and share this beautiful craftsmanship around the world in a matter of minutes!

Neat capture. I like the angle, and you've done a good job of getting the colors in the marble.
