Description

Another iris from Walsterway Iris Gardens in Maltby, Washington. Out of the approximately three hundred shots I took the day Ann and I went out there, this is certainly one of my favorites.

Oh my goodness, despite the gray tongue, what lovely colors, textural effects and clarity depicted in the yawning chasm of this Iris, Tara! And such a beautiful orange-red boa at the bottom. I also like the serrated edges of the leafs, which resemble shaved ice, of this particular species. Way to go, young lady!
