Description

This painting is a metaphor of the famous sermon on the mount Beatitudes. It is the first completed work in a series that explores each beatitude via the life of trees on mountain ridges. Here the tree thirsts - for water putting down amazing root systems which are now its spring board for life. The tree also hungers for the light as it reaches toward the sun.
