Description
This painting is a metaphor of the famous sermon on the mount Beatitudes. It is the first completed work in a series that explores each beatitude via the life of trees on mountain ridges.
Here the tree thirsts - for water putting down amazing root systems which are now its spring board for life. The tree also hungers for the light as it reaches toward the sun. One is blessed by deep roots and light seeking behaviour.
