Description

I keep seeing this house out at Lake Martin and then I went to the camera shop here in town and got a film precess and I had some shots of the house. The top one is from my digital camera. It was in around 9 AM. The bottom image is from the film 35mm camera. It was at sunset at the same time I took the sunset over the swamp. they are taken at diff pov's the top one have a tree that hides the corner of the house and I could not move to get a shot that will show the tree in a diff place so it right on the corner. I do not know who owns this house. All I know is it was in France and tooken apart brick by brick and bought here to Lake Martin in Louisiana U.S.A.

More like a tower then a house. Great place to live, amongst all that lush greenery. Both are fantastic shot. The bottom one is a little spooky with the lighting and the moss hanging from the trees.

Wow! That's going to the extreme to move a house. The bottom picture has a scary feeling to it. Nice seeing both film/digi for comparison. Aloha

Two great views in different light make a fine pair to contrast. Somebody must be very rich to bring this lovely house over from France, but it should be right at home in Louisiana.

I like both shots Jock but I think the bottom one has more atmosphere, a very moody spooky shot. I love them both, and an interesting story too. 5+++++++
