Description

I was listening to a radio show yesterday and they have a "man on the streets" show. They go out and ask things that they think people will know. Like yesterday they ask how we got July 4th Independence day. I say to myself every one knows that but most young people did not know the answer. They say it from the Civil war or world war one or world war two. or the 1812 war. lol and I thought the schools was doing a good job. Louisana is dead last in the schools and these questions was ask where the schools was in the top 10. Make you wonder how they get these scores of schools from? Bet the whole world knows what the forth of July means to the U.S.A. Look like our schools is not teaching the young people no more. ... This is in a small town south of where I live. It in Erath, Louisiana They had the streets full of flags and the houses too had flag all over the place. This is one of the best photos of the flags I took. thanks for looking and comments

A shame indeed Jock, but the problem lies with the Parents, and then maybe the Government. The Government makes claims that they will be responsible, and the Parents think it is true. Fact is, stupid people are easy to manipulate! :(

I have yet to find a child over the age of 9 who doesn't know how we got Independence Day... 4th of July. Amazing some people don't know! Are these kids our future rocket scientists? We might be in trouble. :-) Good shot.

No wonder there's so much crime in Erath! How do the police expect to catch anybody using that cart? With those tiny wheels, the bad guys could be in another state by the time they got that thing up and going. Anyway, a very Happy 4th of July to you, Jocko, and to all, and LOL about the kids not knowing the origin of Independence Day. The schools in California are just as bad.
