To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

"I get out my work and have a show for myself before I have it publicly.
I make up my own mind about how good or bad or indifferent it is.

I have already settled it for myself so flattery

That is so stunning! I think your title is perfect. To me, her look is one of mistrust and/or fear. She is delicate and yes, fragile, probably victimized in the past. I think she represents the fragility in all of us, the awareness of which should help us to recognize the fragility in others and inspire us to treat everyone with respect and tenderness. Really a captivating image, Mina. Hugs, Suzanne

I think your first thought was actually inline with your art. she does look eerie behind the cheese cloth like material
romanceworks
Well, the other bride of Frankenstein could also have been fragile.:o) Both titles would have worked for this marvelous, haunting artwork. CC

She is beautiful, in a wonderful gothic, Victorian kind of way, the gauze-y (can't decide how one would spell that,LOL) material of her dress carries wonderfully through the whole image, she appears to have a feather in hand. Which leads to many questions in mind just as to what is happening here .. who is fragile? Who found what? Who did what? Who's feather is it? Is she human or other? Why is she seemingly draped in this gauze like material? Oh my, I better stop.
