Description
We saw the Alien creatures advancing with great speed on the Castle. It was at this point, I decided it was time to flee!! The airship was to be our saviour, as the creatures could not fly!! (Although we didn't know this at the time.)
In this image I was trying for the Jules Verne/HG Wells feel of very early science fiction stories and a 19th century style of illustration. (Hand coloured engraving)
