Description

I've wanted to do this image for a long time now. Based on the 80's song "99 Red Balloons" by Nena. A war begins when trigger happy generals send planes to intercept a mass of unidentifed objects (balloons) just above the horizon. The conflict escalates as everyone wants a piece of the action, and by the end of the song there is nothing left... no fighters, no balloons, just a world in ruins. Sure makes us think Steve! Fine detailed city with buidlings ablaze and the hazy smoke of fires everywhere helps remind us, whatever the reason it starts, war is hell. . . Excellent !!!
