My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

LOL... "flower challenged"... I like that term. Hehe Good Call, my friend. I love the two of them together here, very different in the centre, however... a nice comparison. The colours are so brilliant and so alive... The red glow around the centre is absolutely dazzling, adding to a rich texture. A truly gorgeous capture!

Looks like poppies like roses. They come in so many different colors. This is a very gorgeous orange pair, well exposed shot.

When given a choice, I will always try to take photos with less light for the color richness. This is a great shot and the color is deep and inviting. Fabulous shot.

simply stunning!

Wonderful poppies, Tara. I love the rich color. Whenever I see poppies I'm reminded of the field outside the Emerald City in the Wizard of Oz movie. The witch almost won there. :-)

Wow. I love the detail in these! So much better full size as well. The magnetic lasso makes things so much easier... Lol... I went round the rose in about 15 seconds. Then just did a tiny bit with a black paintbrush in PSP Photo XI... Sadly I dont know how to do anything else with cs3, or the psp! Lol, other then the frames.
