Description

UF/APO/PSP I did this picture last night while I was listening music of Corinne Bailey Rae... so it's some kind of tribute for her and all of you that like her music ;O) Three little birds, sat on my window. And they told me I don't need to worry. Summer came like cinnamon So sweet, Little girls double-dutch on the concrete. Maybe sometimes, we've got it wrong, but it's alright The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same Oh, don't you hesitate. Girl, put your records on, tell me your favourite song You go ahead, let your hair down Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams, Just go ahead, let your hair down. You're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow. Blue as the sky, sunburnt and lonely, Sipping tea in the bar by the roadside, (just relax, just relax) Don't you let those other boys fool you, Got to love that afro hair do. Maybe sometimes, we feel afraid, but it's alright The more you stay the same, the more they seem to change. Don't you think it's strange?..... Thanks for stopping. I appreciate your support and all the comments on this and all my previous works. Also a big thanks to everyone who added my work as a favourite. I'm very glad for it. Have a nice day! The title appeals to me, playing cd's the whole day. Music from long ago, my youth. Nice presentation here!

An enormous, resonating WOW!!! :) It's as if you snatched up a photograph of some of my favorite, most cherished life-moments, Elizabeth! Now, picture this..hehehe...my tortoise framed specs on...loose fitting clothing...hair haphazardly up in a ponytail..drifting carefree from the grasps of everyday foibles...wisping myself via wafting strains of music, into a more carefree realm....becoming absorbed with both the melody and lyrics many times. And here, you've painted it, my idle and reflective times! Thank you! Hugs! :)

I'm not familiar with the artist, but I like the lyrics and love your nostalgic image! Them were the good ole days, fer sure..when I closed the door to my room and let the music of my 45's and 33's envelope me. Excellent sense of spinning motion, and the colors and textures are superb!
