Description

I know the center of the flower is blown. but I like the image as a whole. I used the film camera with the 200mm len. My whole roll have a purple tone to it. I do not know what cause this. maybe out of date film. I got some but it not too much out of date. I going to shoot another roll to see. The gain may be from the 800asa film I used. I did get som of the purple tone out with photoshop. I scan the film and not the photo so I know the purple tone is from the film. I had the camera on auto for the speed of the shudder. thanks for looking and comments and votes. I do not have time to seen thank yous I also got dail up lol. this is my late flower shoot I got so I post some birds shots I got

Whatever caused the purplish tint, I like it! Especially complementing the green in the foreground. Beautiful color!

I looking at this and see the yellow green lines on the bottom which is cause by the film teeth I guess you call it that but that is cause by light getting in. maybe light had got in before the film was prossue

Jocko this is a great shot no matter what problems you had taking it. The swamp has so much to offer... a lot of beauty many wouldn't think of. I loved your swamp flowers and I can't wait to get back to your bird shots. I like your perspective on things - especially the land around where you live. Keep it coming!

Crisis of color of the big role does not play, in essence green remains green, and white white!!!

What an interesting capture, purple water and all. I like those huge pads floating along with the flower and wild mass of leaves. Good POV also. Just how old was the film? I still have some 400 speed film -- expiration date 12/05 -- that's been sitting in my refrigerator for years.

if you will keep your film in the refrigerator it will lengthen it's life. the lily pads are beautiful and I do not blame you for not going out there wading with hungry gators about

Maybe you are pointed North. Here the skies are usually pastel to the South. But if you go out and paint what you see the sky is darker than you remember looking North.
